About the event
Join us at the point where rituals and justice meet. End-of-life transition rituals are sacred practices performed to honor and support individuals as they approach death. These rituals are deeply meaningful for both the dying person and their loved ones, providing opportunities for reflection, connection, and spiritual support during this significant life transition. This journey in Just Rituals will engage participants in discourse and practice around processes like vigil and presence, life review, sacred touch and affirmation, and other spiritual and religious practices, sacred music and song, creating sacred space and farewell rituals. End-of-life transition rituals are deeply personal and can vary greatly depending on cultural, religious, and individual preferences. The primary goal of these rituals is to honor the dying person's journey, provide comfort and support, and facilitate a sense of peace and acceptance during this sacred time of transition.
