About the event

The Home Farmer Workshop Series consists of thirteen weekly sessions, each an hour long, focused

on various aspects of gardening and sustainable agriculture. The sessions cover a wide range of topics,

including soil health, vegetable selection, seed starting, cultivation, hand tools, irrigation systems,

composting, container gardening, pest control, harvesting, garden design, garden-to-table cooking, and

a wrap-up session. Each session combines practical advice, such as choosing vegetables for specific

climates, with hands-on techniques like pruning, composting, and irrigation. The workshops are

designed to provide comprehensive knowledge for home farmers, from basics to advanced gardening

skills.
